(ZYC) Zora Youth Crew Micro-Mural Project

The ZYC youth Crew micro-mural project seeks to uplift and empower the youth in the Fort Pierce community by enriching them with the knowledge of Art, Nutrition, and Agriculture via learning about Zora Neale Hurston and the historical significance she holds as a member of the local community.
This is a 12-week Mural Painting program. Join us for the first of 12 events Sunday 01-08-23 Hosted by Artist Ade Rossman the artist commissioned to paint the Zora Portraits that are displayed in the Zora Neal Hurston Library on Ave. D in Fort Pierce.
Sign-up is on a first come first serve basis we will be accepting 10 artists total. They will be broken up into age groups 8 to 14 and 14 to 18.

Once the project is completed we wanted to discuss to possibility of the youth's artwork being exhibited at the local Juneteenth festival in 2023.
