We have some truly exciting news to share with all of you, our dedicated volunteers, and esteemed board members.
We are thrilled to announce that Stabilize Revitalize Fort Pierce has been selected as a recipient of the Two for the Trails grant program by Athletic Brewing Co.
This grant, which is a testament to our shared commitment to the community and the environment, will greatly support our initiatives and help us make a positive impact on Fort Pierce and the surrounding areas.
The grant, totaling $5,000.00, will be directed towards our "Camp-Hike-Clean St. Lucie" project. This initiative is designed to foster a deep connection between community members and the natural environment such as Moores Creek & the Saint Lucie Farm Preserve while promoting environmental stewardship and community engagement.
It comprises three key components:
1. Camping: We will offer weekend camping trips to designated campsites, providing individuals with the opportunity to experience the outdoors, learn basic camping skills, and engage in activities that cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.
2. Hiking and Nature Exploration: Guided nature walks and hikes to local trails and natural areas will introduce participants to local flora, fauna, and ecosystems, fostering an appreciation and connection to the environment.
3. Cleanup Initiatives: Regularly scheduled cleanup campaigns will target local parks, waterways, and public spaces, instilling a sense of responsibility for the well-being of the ecosystem.
We are immensely grateful to Athletic Brewing Co. for their support and belief in our mission. This grant will significantly advance our efforts to create a more vibrant, sustainable, and harmonious future for our community.

Camp-Hike-Clean St. Lucie is an innovative and comprehensive program developed by Stabilize Revitalize Fort Pierce (SRFP). This program is designed to foster a deep connection between community members and the natural environment while promoting environmental stewardship and community engagement.
The program comprises three key components:
1. Camping: Camp-Hike-Clean St. Lucie will offers weekend camping trips to designated campsites. Participants have the opportunity to experience the outdoors, learn basic camping skills, and engage in activities like stargazing, storytelling, and group games. Camping experiences create a platform for individuals to unwind, recharge, and cultivate a deeper connection with the natural world.
2. Hiking and Nature Exploration: Guided nature walks and hikes to local trails and natural areas will be integral to the program. Participants are introduced to local flora, fauna, and ecosystems, fostering an appreciation and connection to the environment. These nature exploration activities encourage individuals of all ages and backgrounds to embrace the outdoors.
3. Cleanup Initiatives: Community cleanup events are a vital aspect of Camp-Hike-Clean St. Lucie. Regularly scheduled cleanup campaigns target local parks, waterways, and public spaces.
